09 Dec EVO TP4 Terminal Receives Upgrades
POS-X is pleased to announce that our flagship all-in-one terminal, the EVO TP4 will be receiving the following upgrades at no additional cost:
Projected Capacitive Display (P-CAP)
The new P-CAP models have a much sharper and brighter image, are scratch-resistant, and have a longer lifespan which means a lower total cost of ownership for you
Larger Hard Drive
Baseline storage has been upgraded from 320GB to 500GB. The EVO TP4 still comes available in large HDD capacities as well as Solid State Drives (SSD).
This transition will occur over the next several months. Please check with your distributor for latest availability. See the official end-of-life notice for the resistive models below.
End-of-Life Product Notice
EVO TP4C Terminals (Resistive Touch Models)
POS-X is initiating the End of Life (EOL) process for all TP4C resistive touch models and all of their variations. This notification does not apply to P-CAP TP4 models.
POS-X will continue to offer and provide warranty repair for the EOL products three (3) years from the Last Customer Ship (LCS) date announced below for those customers with a valid support contract.
The objective of this announcement is to assist you in making your final purchase of the product subject to EOL, and to help you smoothly transition to the new products by planning the following milestones:

|Last Customer Ship Date||The product is no longer for sale after this date||February 1st, 2016*|
|End of Service Renewals||Last day to purchase warranty service upgrades||30 days from LCS|
|End of Warranty Repair||Repair service will be based on product's warranty||February 1st, 2018|
