POS-X is pleased to announce the next generation of our low cost ION series thermal receipt printer, the ION Thermal 2. The all new ION Thermal 2 features a faster print speed, smaller footprint, front loading paper door, and a unique top feeding design. As before, the ION Thermal 2 still includes a JamFree Autocutter, ESC/POS compatibility, and is Energy Star certified. All of these features make the ION Thermal 2 Printer the perfect option for retail and hospitality operations that require a dependable yet affordable solution.

With the release of the new ION Thermal 2 receipt printer, POS-X has made the decision to discontinue the previous generation ION Thermal. Please see the End-Of-Life Notice at the bottom of this article for phase out dates of the ION Thermal receipt printer.

End-of-Life Product Notice
ION PT1 Thermal Printer
POS-X is initiating the End of Life (EOL) process for the ION PT1 Thermal Printer.
POS-X will continue to offer and provide warranty repair for the EOL products three (3) years from the Last Customer Ship (LCS) date announced below for those customers with a valid support contract.
The objective of this announcement is to assist in making your final purchase of the product subject to this EOL, and to help smoothly transition to the new products through the following milestones:
